remote syncing

Hi,
I need to sync two directories on regular basis that are present on two different unix hosts .Plus in those directories , i want to sync all the subdirectories and files except two subdirectories...ANY CLUES how to implement this.

You might want to take a look at rsync
http://hpux.tn.tudelft.nl/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/rsync-2.5.5/

I'm no specialist with it myself ... but at first glance it fits your requirements.

Hi,
I want to know if i am using rsync then is it reqd that rsync should be installed on both the machines ..like local plua remote machine ..if yes then how will it get the binary as there is not standard path of the same.
