Remove nic from boot config on 11iv1

I have a bad nic on my core io and when the system tries to boot, I run into all kinds of issues. I cant get sam to do anything either in the network card section.
How do I completely remove this nic from the boot config and force a different lan to be lan0 so the system will boot properly and I can get network connectivity.
It is a K460 with the core nic and two hp-pb nics.

Easiest thing to do is change /etc/rc.config.d/netconf, changing lan0 to lan1 or lan2 as the value for INTERFACE_NAME[0]. (Assuming this is the only interface configured.) Move the cable to the new interface. Should be good to go. Only issue this could cause is if you have poorly written scripts or something that have hard coded references to lan0.

Fresh load but there are three configured interfaces...only the core io nic has an address attached.

Lets see the ioscan output.

You may have to reconfigure after this because the order of the interfaces, lan0, lan1, and lan2 may b permanently changed.

Remove hard coded references and configure based on the ioscan report and what network the thing is actually connected too.
