Remove routing entry

currently i have routing table as below (netstat -rn) :-
Routing tables
Dest/Netmask Gateway Flags Refs Use Interface Pmtu
127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH 0 5222 lo0 4136
107.10.85.3 107.10.85.3 UH 0 0 lan1 4136
107.10.86.3 107.10.86.3 UH 0 73719 lan0 4136
107.10.85.0 107.10.85.3 U 2 0 lan1 1500
107.10.86.0 107.10.86.3 U 2 0 lan0 1500
127.0.0.0 127.0.0.1 U 0 0 lo0 4136
default 107.10.86.1 UG 0 0 lan0 1500

i would like to remove 107.10.85.0 entry in this routing. No downtime pls help.

Hi,
The command is
route delete net 107.10.85.0 netmask 107.10.85.3

If you have gated running you might want to work like this :
/sbin/init.d/gated stop
/sbin/init.d/net start
route delete ...
/sbin/init.d/gated start

As 'root'

# /usr/sbin/route delete 107.10.85.0

man route for further information
Anyone for a Mutiny ?
