MOrning,
we recieved a replacement drive for an an rp4440, the replacement did not come with a drive since the drives from the old server will be uses. the old server has 2 drives that are mirrored, need to remove the mirror dirve so that the new server can boot with the mirror drive. do i need to do anything, or can i just pull the mirror drive out?? looking at SAM there is an option to "unconfigure" any idea what it does?
thanks in advance

Re: Remove the mirror drive
Shalom,
lvsplit the mirrors prior to the procedure.
To work smoothly, you will need to try and have the drive have the scsi address of the boot path the same in both machines.
