Removing 10.20 CDE from 11.x converted system

Removing 10.20 CDE from 11.x converted system

I am trying to remove HPUXENGCR800 HP-UX English CDE Run time environment vers B.10.20 from my 11.x system. I tried to swremove and it will not let me remove it due to dependencies of X11BMS X windows for 10.20.

I was told to install the 11.x version of HPUXENG32RT or 64Rt version of the CDE run time environment from the Core/OS cd? Once installed, i then remove the 10.20 version? What is the best way to remove this?

please advise?

Hi,

You question is a little unclear. On all of
my HP-UX 11 systems my filesets for CDE are
all version B.11.00. Do you have listed under

HPUXEng64RT --> CDE B.11.00 and CDE B10.20 ??

Was your system upgraded from HP-UX 10.20 to
HP-UX 11 or a fresh installation.
