Removing VUE?
We recently upgraded from 10.20 to 11.0 and have never used Vue. I understand we cannot use it on 11 even if we wanted to. I would like to delete it but I cannot find an entry for it in SWREMOVE.
What would be the best way to completely remove Vue without affecting our other software such as CDE and X?
Thanks

Re: Removing VUE?
VUE will not work on 11.xx correct, if you have filesets installed my guess is they come from a patch vue ... ?
swlist -l fileset ? grep -i vue ?
remove the patch(es) what are you left with ?
Or personally I'd leave well alone if VUE filesets are not eating up disk space or no urgent need to free disk space.

Re: Removing VUE?
Hi Patrick,
you can run the following command on the VUE product. It might be just still sitting there from the upgrade process.
swmodify -u in your case check what swlist -l product shows for the VUE product and add this to the swmodify -u command.

Log in as root to CDE.
Open the "Applications" front panel icon.
Open the "System_Admin" folder.
Click on the "Uninstall HP VUE" icon.
