remsh/rcp session limit

Anybody got a quick reference for the factors influencing the max amount of rcp/remsh sessions between 2 servers?
I don't seem to be hitting any specific kernel param limits, but I can't seem to exceed a certain number of concurrent RCP sessions.

rcp/remsh and all rcmd() users bind on a priviledge port lower than 1023

what is the limit you reached?
