Replace failed primary root boot disk

Can anyone please let me know what is the best procedure to replace a failed primary root boot disk assuming that alternate boot disk is bootable in one situation and in another situation alternate boot disk is not bootable.

You do understand that the proper protocol of this forum is to assign points as a token to giving thanks right? 0 out of 46 replies??, and nobody in your JFS question.

Hi Ramprakash,

Do a search in these forums with the words "root mirror". There have been many posts on them. Look for the messages that carry 8 or more points. They indicate that those answers satisfied the user and hence could be correct.
