Replacing CDE With Another WM
One of main nodes runs HP-UX 11.11 on an rp5470.
I have a few VP's who are kind of letting me know that the 80's look and feel of CDE is really putting a damper on their willingness to use the interface.
Alot of folks around here are used to slick KDE and Gnome interfaces, -have any of you tried out and deployed other WM's?
Is there a guide that shows how to make CDE a bit more modern looking?

Re: Replacing CDE With Another WM
Take a look at the faq's
Questions 7 + 8.
How do I install Ximian GNOME for HP-UX?
I've enabled GNOME, but I need to get back to CDE. How can I do this?

Re: Replacing CDE With Another WM
GNOME is not supported and there are no current plans to deliver a supported version of GHOME on HP-UX. The version that you installed was a preview of a project that was canceled. There will not be updates or patches to that release of GNOME.
