reset root password for rx7640 hpux11iv2

Hi

I just used a ignite tape to install a new rx7640 server with hpux11i v2. However, I can't recall the old root password for that tape.

Any proper way to go into single user mode and change the root password?

root password rest from ignite tape is risk ,u install from ignite disk , then go to single user mode ..then we can reset root password .

Hey Restart the server interrupt the boot and boot the server in single user mode hpux -is and reset you password if not while you install the os from the ignite tape you can reset your password at the time of disk allocation table.

Moreover, my machine is a trusted machine. Therefore, I have to modify the tcb/files/auth/r/root file.
