Reset the root password ,,,
Hi Dears,
I am forget root password, becz Last 4 months i am not using that server now i am able to login the system root account has been disable contact account manager.. [rx1620-there is no MP port] how to resolve the problem , pls any one help me ..
Suppose this system trusted mode , what is the solution.How to find out this system trusted or not.

first thing to say I think the problem should have been submitted in HP-UX room:

Anyway I'd like to help you but one thing that I didn't understand from your post is whether you have currently a shell as root on system.
Could you reply about this?
Then I'll give you steps to change root password according to the situation.

If you have a physical console and can boot the system in single user mode then you be logged in without needing to log in.
Reboot,
Interrupt boot
boot command:
hpux -is
At that point you can reset the password.
