Resizing a LUN on 11.31

I am trying to resize a lun seen by my host. It has a simple file system on.

As far as i remember, 11.31 supports DLE. But after expansion of the lun, the new size is not reported by diskinfo however the new size is reported by inq tools.

Now, the question is, what is the standard procedure that we need to follow to make the host aware of the new size of the lun.

I know about vgmodify utility which can be used to expand the volume size to the new pv size, but even vgmodify is not working since it does not reconize the new size.

Help is appreciated.
