Restore make_tape_recovery ( different PE size )

Hi to all,
is it possible, during the restore of a full make_tape_recovery on an Itanium system Hpux 11iv2 made on a VG with a single disk,
recreate the vg with different PE size ?

For example it could be useful to avoid wasting space when I backup from a 36Gb disk and I restore on a 73Gb disk...

Ignite will automatically adjust to the new disk size during the restore but I also believe you can manually intervene and set your desired PE size.

I can see no problem. It is a common method, using ignite for reconfiguring vg00.

obiovously I can do it manually if I used make_tape_recovery with "-I" option...
isn't it?

Hi,

Ignite will adjust it automatically, I think that if you have created you make_tape_recovery with the -I flag, you will be able to change file systems size and also PE size.
