Restore system with PVG from ignite copy

I need to restore a system that has the vg00 with two discs forming PVG without a mirror.
I wonder if it is possible to restore from a copy of ignite on a single disc (higher than the previous ones) and eliminate the PVG.
Thanks.

Re: Restore system with PVG from ignite copy

absolutely. just select this disk during install.

adjust or delete the pvg file once the system is up.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Restore system with PVG from ignite copy

Shalom,

The Ignite interface permits you to change the boot disk, increase logical volume and file system size.

Its the same interface as the OS installation interface and was designed to be part of a common user interface to give you the broad ability to reconfigure a system via restore.

I've never seen another tool like it.
