restore

We are testing a restore of a 11.31 IA client from an Igniteserver but getting an error.
It seems that the Igniteserver must at least have UX version 11.31.
Is that correct, or is there a way to restore a 11.31 client from a 11.23 igniteserver.

Thanks, Alfons

Re: restore

The ignite server can be 11.11, 11.23 or 11.31 with a current ignite version.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: restore

I think You misunderstood.
The Igniteserver makes the backups just fine.
However when I try to restore it says:

ERROR: The version of HP-UX you have chosen to install on the system (B.11.31) is not supported by the version of the Ignite-UX install kernel that the system booted (B.11.23).

Re: restore

What version do you have?

https://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/try.do?productNumber=IGNITEUXB

current is C.7.9.261

Maybe you have a config problem, you boot the client from an 11.23 install kernel ...

Hope this helps!
