Restricted FTP and Trusted HP-UX

Anyone knows if I can run a restricted FTP client on an trusted HP-UX mode? My system is running trusted hp-ux, I don't want ftp users to be able to change out of their destinated ftp directory. However, I can't find a ftp server that will compile on a trusted HP-UX system.

Please let me know there is a ftp client I can use for this and where I can get a copy.

so are you saying that the restricted ftp feature is already build into HP-UX and that I just needed to configure it?

hi,

whatever i wrote in the second document is a way to restrict ftp users, but there are other ftp programs like wuftpd and proftp which offer more flexible configuration. pl do a search for those utilities in the forums.

In the trusted system the restricted ftp feature is enabled by default. If you want you can allow the users to use ftp by modifying the ftpusers file.
