resync the broken disk with the mirrored VG01
Hi All,
I have 6 disk in vg01 which are mirrored as follows,
vg01 has following config
c5t0d0-lvol1-17gb-----mirrored----- c6t12d0-lvol1
c5t1d0-lvol2-17gb-----mirrored-----c6t13d0-lvol2
c5t2d0-lvol3-17gb-----mirrored------c6t14d0-lvol3
now c6t14d0 is broken
we have replaced the disk and ran,
vgcfgrestore -n
it gives error I/O error on Physical Volume Device /dev/rdsk/c6t14d0'.
I ran pvcreate -f and again ran vgfgrestore, but got the same error.
I have renamed the lvmtab and created a new lvmtab (vgscan -v)
I have also ran vgreduce -f
but, my vgdisplay still shows current PV 6 and active PV 5.
how do I fix this..
thanks and regards to everyone
