rise windows
i use UX11.00 . In the cde-style-manager/window/windowbehavior
i've choosen only: ,point in window to make active'. (i don't want to raise the active
window generaly.) but if i click on a windowsframe in many cases this window
doesn't raise.how can that be? how can i
raise then(without lowering the other windows)?
tanks a lot.

Re: rise windows
The Style Manager should be able to cope with your setup ? the only reason I can think for inconsistencies could be a user having different window manager related resources relating to window behaviour under a home & a current session ...could this be the case ? you could check using xset -q ? grep Dtwm and look for focus policy etc .....
Can you confirm that the problem occurs for the user intermittently under the same CDE session / login. Confirm you are after the window been raised above the others by either clicking or pointing your cursor in the window.

Re: rise windows
Click and hold the window you want to raise and drag it up.

Re: rise windows
There is a defect in some versions of dtwm that causes it to not raise windows when it should. The problem is corrected in the current CDE patch.
