rmove a volume group

i want to remove a volume group. but i have this error message (see below).

vgremove: Volume group "/dev/vg03" still contains more than one physical volume path.
vgremove: Couldn't remove volume group "/dev/vg03".
Command Unsuccessful

Just vgexport it.

Hi,

#vgexport /dev/vg03

vgexport command can be used to remove a volume group from the system.

Hi

Or what you can do is check disks under this vg with vgdisplay -v vgname
and than reduce all disk from this VG,using vgreduce after that you can remove Volume Group with vgremove

I resolve the problem using vgexport in sam.
