while i am trying to login through root ..
its giving error as below..
login: root
Password:
Account is disabled - see Account Administrator
is there any way to enable it?
will single usermode will work?
can i enable root passwd throu; single user mode??
waiting for replies...

Other option - is sudo installed and can you sudo su - to root? If so, then you can rectivate the account that way
in either case modprpw -k root will reactivate the account once you are logged on.

If physical access to console is not available then you can use MP/GSP for console login.

You can enable root account again easily. Logon the system through MP (management processor) and type the following command:
/usr/lbin/modprpw -k root
