Root is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.
Hi, I am a HP-UX system administrator. I have sudo access. In our routine job we have to check the status of server, so for our convinience we have made one script through which we can check the entire status of server. Now when i am running that script as sudeors and checking the cluster status it is giving output as
"Root is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported"
but when i run the script as u user without sudo root access it is not giving any error. If anyone can help i will be thankful.

If you are already root, no need to use sudo.

Are you doing a nested sudo, the first changes you to root and the second complains?
