RP 7405 with RAID 4si and DS2300

Dears
you are the last hope to help me out
i have this case
RP7405 Hp-UX 11i and Raid 4SI installed connected to a DS2300 with 5 Drives
i had no problem in configuration
and i configured Raid 5 in the DS2300
and Created VG and lvol 20Gb size
the problem happens when i start to transfare my data to the Raid 5 Storage on the DS , data stop copying and i cant make BDF or ioscan
after a while i do ioscan -fnuC disk
the Raid Drive has SCAN Status not Claimd
Can Any one help me ?
the scsi cable is tested
is the raid defected ??

You say you created the vg/lvol...

Ok - what is the output of diskinfo on disk?

diskinfo /dev/rdsk/cXtXdX

Do a vgdisplay -v /dev/vgXX (the vg you created) to get the disk(s).

The SCAN result from ioscan means "node locked, try again later". If the device is locked for a long time, that might mean some kind of a hardware failure.

Does "dmesg" have any SCSI-related messages?
Lbolts or something?

Do you have online diagnostics installed? If not, download it:
http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B6191AAE

Run the Exercise tool of the diagnostics for the DS disk. Does it tell anything?

yes i created the vg and lvol
but its as i said might be hardware failuer i will runt the online test and tell u about the result
