rp2470 hangs while booting

Hi,

We have HP rp2470. When I rebooted the system is hanging after displying the memory information.
Here is the output from the console.

after this message, system is haning ( it is not showing any output. Please guide me how to proceed.

Hi Raghu

Kernel might have got corrupted. Try to boot from Backup Kernel (/stand/vmunix.prev)

If disks are mirrored, try booting from alternate path.

Thanks for the reply. Before positing the message, Tried the alternate kernel too ( booting from vmunix.prev ) but it hangs at same point.

Have you tried single user mode/lvm maintenance mode?

Tried the single user mode, but not "lm" mode. Is it problem with lvols?

Ragu in single user mode are you able to go inside?

if yes try to acitivate vgs from there if it is showing error run fsck on it.

Sorry for the confusion. Even in single user mode also it is hanging at the same place.
Do I need boot using lm mode?

Hi,

you can try by Recovery Shell to see if you obtain more helps. But if there is the same behaviour by using /stand/vmunix and /stand/vmunix.prev then it sounds me like an HW problem.
Try to open an HW call by HP and good luck!
