rp3440 performance

Hi, We're having some issues with our applications running too slow on a hpux 11i, our server is a rp3440 and we recently upgrade to 6 GB of RAM. I'm looking for some command to help me monitor my server. Normally I just use top and swapinfo -tam

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

TIA

Re: rp3440 performance

Hi Ivan:

I'd use 'glance'. If you haven't already purchased it, you should. However, a trial version is available on the Application CD/DVD set.

Regards!

Re: rp3440 performance

I am also a fan of glance.

There are alternatives:

This bunch uses the standard sar utilities to collect system information into a folder. This is an upgrade I performed on some scripts provided by HP.

The nice part about these utilities, is you can tar and upload the data to HP support if you need extra help.
