RP4440 fibre refuses to log in EMC CX500

Hi All,
The RP4440 fibre refuses to log into the CX500.
I have posted is question in the "Storage" section of this forum. But nobody has replied.

I don't have the details with me, but there is a configuration file that is part of the EMC software that is installed on HPUX. Within this file you must give the IP address of the CX500 controllers and a user name and maybe a password. The software uses this information to register itself to the Clariion.

Do you remember editing such a configuration file?
