Re: rp4440 support smart array card ?
There are two smart array cards for the rp4440. The SA 6402/128MB, part number A9890A, and the SA 4-channel 160 SA SCSI controller, part number A7143A. Both are supported with 11.11 and 11.23PI. However, you may need the latest firmware, and patches to the OS may be required or the latest DVD's to install the OS. The A7143A must only be installed in slot 8, but I don't see any issues. I see where it says that the A9890A is optionally supported for mirroring across internal disks. This may be new.

Re: rp4440 support smart array card ?
For a HP install of the A9890A SA 6402 U320 card and mirrored across two internal drives, Factory Express Service HA45xA1 must be ordered.
