ssh - 11i server to 11.0 or 10.20 clients
I have an 11i "sysadmin" server that we're trying to stup for ssh communications to the rest of our servers. When ssh'ing to other 11i servers, all works fine. When ssh'ing to 11.0 or 10.20 servers, we always gt asked for passwords. We're using rsa-version 2. I'm pretty sure all the file/directory permissions are right since they are set the same on the 11.0 server as on the 11i server, unless the older releases were fussier. Anyone know of issues in this area ?

Re: ssh - 11i server to 11.0 or 10.20 clients
While connecting to 10.20 and 11 servers check what is the error. ssh -vvv
you may need to use version 1. ssh -1 "some_server"
you may need to use version 1. ssh -1 "some_server"
There is no substitute to HARDWORK

Re: ssh - 11i server to 11.0 or 10.20 clients
You absolutely should be able to do this. I'm adding a link to a power point presentation that shows the steps.
The presentation was done for HP world and was supposed to be a hands on demonstration. All it lacks is the screen shots. In this case I don't think screen shots showing it works are necessary.

I have personally made this work on 11.00 11i and Linux and environments mixing all three.
