RPC exception died from signal 11

Hi,

does anybody know what this error-message
mean in the swagentd.log?

* Agent pid=4566 died from signal 11.

On HOSTX:
-> swinstall ....... @ HOSTY
commandline:
ERROR: RPC exception: "Connection closed (dce / rpc)" 03/25/04

On HOSTY:
in swagentd.log :
* Agent pid=4566 died from signal 11.

Any suggestions?

Are you running hp-ux 11.22?? There is a patch available for this problem (PHSS_28827 ),

Hi Gerrit,

are your lan settings ok?
Also check resolution names by nslookup on hostname and see /etc/hosts. Also ifconfig lan0 (or 1,2 etc according to interface used).
