rpc.lockd taking 90% of CPU

Hello,

Is anybody know if there is a way to stop and restart lockd on my NFS server without disturbing production. I know it can be done on SUN. But is there a way on HP-UX 11.00?
Thanks

I don't think that it possible to restart the rpc.lockd so you will have to kill and restarted. There is a patch that I think will stop this happening.

rpc.lockd

The data segment of the rpc.lockd process grows
larger with time, and response time increases. The
process may ultimately crash because of a lack of
memory.
