I'm having v-class (HP 11.11) system. rpcd and dced process didn't get started. It's not starting samd daemon also. Can you give any suggestions to resolve this problem.

Re: rpcd and dced not started
Do you have them configured to start?
Do the rpc services start about 30 minutes after the reboot? All of these services can be started from ANY root login.

Re: rpcd and dced not started
ps -ef | grep rpcd ?
if no process check :
/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log since dce is v.verbose to this file & also in /var/opt/dce/svc I'd check the timestamps of the log files, look at them only if they have been written to recently.
post the errors ....
