rsh takes 30 seconds to answer from hpux 11.23 to linux

the rsh takes a 30 seconds to answer from hpux 11.23 to linux but, between 2 systems hpux is rapidly.

when we made the rsh from linux to hpux this is ok.

Somebody know some issue, or what we can verify?.

If I were to guess I would say that the Linux system is having trouble looking-up the name of the HP-UX system (a "reverse" lookup to go from IP address to hostname). That, or it may be trying to do an identd lookup. If you can system call trace the rsh server daemon on the Linux side you could probably get more information.

Yes, the hpux have problems with identd port. we disable this and the rsh works ok.
