Rsync for HP-UX11

Had been using rsync for HP-UX 10.20. Would like to know if it's available for HP-UX 11.
If yes, would like to know when can I get the installation from. Thanks!

Re: Rsync for HP-UX11

Who needs rsync?

HP-UX 11 and up come with rdist

rdist(1) rdist(1)

NAME
rdist - remote file distribution program

SYNOPSIS
rdist [ -bhinqvwyMR ] [ -f distfile ] [ -d var=value ] [ -m host ]
[ label... ]

rdist [ -bhinqvwyMR ] -c name... [ login@]host[:dest ]

DESCRIPTION
rdist facilitates the maintaining of identical copies of files over
multiple hosts. It preserves the owner, group, mode, and modification
time of files if possible and can update programs that are executing.

Re: Rsync for HP-UX11

Since you've stated you're a "newbie", you probably want to stick to the depot software refenced previously, but for more info (latest version) on rsync look here:

and for problems, bugs, etc. the mailing list archive is here:
