running SAM on HP11iv2

when I try to run SAM on a console , i have this output error "cannot run SAM because your DISPLAY variable is not set" can somebody help me

Hi,
If that is a console then it should work.
Try setting TERM as hp or vt100.
# export TERM=hp
OR
# export TERM=vt100

Hi,

are you trying to launch SAM from a PC connected on HP-UX system by Xemulator?

Anyway export DISPLAY variable for that console and retry SAM, for example:

# export :0.0
# sam

yes i set and export TERM variable but doesn't work, we try whit a pc using Xemulator and set de Display and works ,
