rx2620 active console output device

Hi

Hasthe setting of the active console output device changed from the Rx2600 to rx2620 itanium hosts. when i setup the rx2600's i had to use console first then EFI shell, select active console output devices and save the vga settings and reset. on the rx2620 i haventh been prompted for it ? do i need to set it up and of so how to do it
