SAM Error when opening anything under Disks and FileSystems

I have a N-Class, running 11.0 with a lot of disks attatched to it. When I run SAM I get the following error...
-------------------------------------------
UNEXPECTED EXIT: process /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p 27178 -s fs_sa_vg
/usr/sam/lib//fs.ui exited with a non-zero status.

sh: 2002 Bus error

Please Help!!!

Sounds like latest SAM/OBAM patch time to me!

Perhaps PHCO_21187 might help.

Re: SAM Error when opening anything under Disks and FileSystems

It has nothing to do with the number of disks.

This sam thing comes up here about two or three times a week.

This search will get you a list. Most of them have already been listed.

When this hit me I didn't know what itrc was, and the latest and greatest sam patch cleared it up.

Re: SAM Error when opening anything under Disks and FileSystems

For future reference, should someone find this while searching for a solution, the patch I suggested was the HP recommended patch. The patch Patrick suggested was the latest patch. It's a matter of philosphy whether you go with the latest or the recommended. I prefer to err on the side of caution. I would have done well to say this up front, I guess.
