sam error

Hi I am getting this error when i start sam
"0B1H1G1A1C0D1I0L0A999Y999Csam: Couldn't bring up the initial window. This may occur when
you specify an incorrect display." How can i fix this i am working with 11.0 hp-ux .Thanks for your help ...

what is your term set to?

do echo $TERM

are you running this via term / term emulator (no X-Windows)? If so, make sure the DISPLAY enviroment variable is not set - i.e. "unset DISPLAY"

if it is X, then "echo $DISPLAY" and see if it is set properly

How about the DISPLAY variable?

echo $DISPLAY

Check, if this is correct.

on hp-ux the root shell should be sh, not ksh
