Sam-> unexpected exit

Sam->Disks and File systems->swap throws

UNEXPECTED EXIT: process LANG=C LC_ALL=C /usrsam/lbin/samx -C -p 15112 -s fs_sa_swap /usr/sam/lib/fs.ui exited with a non-zero exit status.

while adding filesystem swap space to b2600 workstation with hpux 11.11.

Any suggestion ?

Thanks.

Re: Sam-> unexpected exit

I would look for the latest sam patch, install it and try again.

I solved similar issues this way.

This more so if other disk operations send back similar errors.

If not, try a move that leaves some spare disk space.

JAGad85391) SAM dumps core when a user enters the Logical Volume (LV) dialog, or tries to obtain more information on an LV that has 120 (or more) EMC disks assigned to it.The error message displayed

is as shown below:
------------------------------------------------
UNEXPECTED EXIT: process
/usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p 16090 -s fs_sa_vg /usr/sam/lib//fs.ui exited with a non-zero exit status
