SAM not displaying all my LUNs?
I have an 11i system which has 64 LUNs assigned from SAN storage to 2 fibre channels to the system. Everything here is, and has been fine. SAM displays (under disk devices) something like:
1/0/0/0.1.15.0.0.0.0 2 LVM vg03 12288 STK │ │
││ 1/0/0/0.1.15.0.0.0.1 2 LVM vg03 12288 STK │ │
││ 1/0/0/0.1.15.0.0.0.2 2 LVM vg03 12288 STK │ │
││ 1/0/0/0.1.15.0.0.0.3 2 LVM vg03 12288 STK
etc, etc.
Today I added two more LUNs to the system, and they show up via IOSCAN and I was able to install the special files (insf -e) there are /dev/dsk devices on both cards etc. Looks fine and happy.
However, when I go into SAM under Disk Devices, I don't see the 2 new LUNs. I see all LUNs up to 1/0/0/0.1.15.0.0.7.6 and 1/0/0/0.1.15.0.0.7.7.
The new LUNs should be 8.0 and 8.1. I also just loaded the latest cummulative SAM patch, but that didn't se

Re: SAM not displaying all my LUNs?
Which SAN hardware, and is there any associated software running for it on the HP box (like EMC's PowerPath)?

Re: SAM not displaying all my LUNs?
The hardware is STK D240. We are also running dynapath which handles binding the LUN from each card into 1 for the system to see. That software also reports that it sees both paths correctly.
