SAM not present after install
I just installed a k580 with 11.0 and the march 2004 patch support plus. /usr/sbin/sam is not present and when I do a find on the entire system 'sam' is not found. Is there a way I can install sam on the server after the fact?

Re: SAM not present after install
Larry,
First off, I'd be suspicious of the entire install and probably start over from scratch.
But - if you want to try just installing SAM, queue up the 1st CORE/OS cd and run swinstall against it. Change the view to "Start with Products". Scroll down through the list until you come to "SystemAdmin". Install that and you should have SAM back.
Note, I checked this against the 11i cd set so there may be some minor differences vs the 11.0 set.

Re: SAM not present after install
It should be under HPUXEng32RT or whatever your run-time is (language,"bitness") then
SystemAdmin->Runtime->SAM.
However, this is installed by default so unless you did a custom install and inadvertantly checked this off, something is wrong. I would be very surprised if only sam is missing. I would be tempted to install again.

If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
