sam not wkg with itanium server
SAM not wkg with itanium server when enter sam command server getting hang, likewise when i issuing stm and cstm command also it's getting hang.
is there any settings to set display for itanium server becoz i have set it up export DISPLAY=hostname:0, enventhough sam not wkg

If it is:
Do you have the tape drive connected to the buil-in SCSI controller?
Do you have 3 disks installed?
See the notes on the other thread.

Try this:
unset DISPLAY
sam
That will run the character mode (not Xwindows) version. There's a lot of work neeeded to get Xwindows working properly. Disabling the DISPLAY variable will cause SAM to bypass tghe Xwindow stuff.

yes that has external scsi for tape and 3 disks also, so u r saying i have change scsi id?
DISPLAY
it's not wkg after i have issued unset DISPLAY cmd
is there anyother ideas
