samba 3.0.14a with ldap-Integration

Hi,
has anyone experience using samba in conjunction with ldap.
Can a get a working smb.conf?
I cannot understand some settings there.
My installed samba-version using ADS is working and the HPUX Integration with ldap also.
I only want to get users information for samba connection only from ldap, if there is no entry in /etc/passwd for this users. Is this possible?
