samba 3.0.20 can not be compiled

Dear Samba expert,
While I compile samba version 3.0.20 with ldap
support, there are some error messages as following. The error message is "libldap is needed for LDAP support". After the error message , the compiling samba's process terminate. How to solve the problem. Attached file is a configuration log file.

Why not use HP's version? ldap already compiled in (I'm pretty sure)....

Now we are using HP CIFS A.02.01, but we face some problems. After we are using 3d application UG NX2 to save as files, we can not contiune to save the files, we must quit UG. Samba 3.0.20 can solve our problems, I want to compile it with ldap support.

You need to have OpenLDAP or LDAP compatible libraries as a prerequisite to compile SAMBA. OpenLDAP is available from HP Internet express product page.

You solve my problem. Though I installed a third party openldap product , I can not configure samba with ldap. After installing
HP openldap, I am successful to install it.
