SAMBA and PAM

Does SAMBA support PAM. My goal is to have LDAP and PAM to do the password sync across the Novell, HP-UX and Windows 2000. If it does not, do you have any other suggestion for accomplishing this task.

At the HP Internet Security class, we were told yes.

Implementing LDAP requires changes to Windows 2K servers if they are handling network authentication.

There is a white paper on the subject.
