samba CIFS winbind can't start

samba CIFS winbind can't start

I just installed a HP CIFS server A.02.03 on our ITANUM 4640, after install start the samba, can't start the winbind daemon. I run ./startwinbind , it give me a process number. but there is no process, means the process start and died. I am using Domain authentication. not in trusted mode yet.
