Samba defunct processes

Hello gurus,

I have realised that in my hp-ux 11i server , there are a lot of defunct processes . I have also discovered that the PPID of this processes is the samba daemon . I do not know why it happens but I do not find anything strange in the log files of samba . In the patch web I haven't also found any samba patch which can apply to the release I have installed.

Thanks in advance

Re: Samba defunct processes

Add a line

dead time = 15

to your smb.conf file and restart the samba daemons.
