Samba domain security ok for users but bad for domain admins
Hi,
I have detected the following : in a win2k native domain, I have a Samba
2.2.0 and 2.0.9
I was able to put both of them in the domain (by marking "use
pre-windows2000..." in the Active Directory). All users can access the
machine running Samba 2.2.0. On the Samba 2.0.9 I cannot access shares as
domainadmin/admin, but I can as a normal user. The users.map file has been
created in order to have a mapping for administrator to root. It appears to
me that this method does not work on sub 2.2.0 revisions. Anyone who had the
same problem ?
Should I upgrade the 2.0.9 to 2.2.0 or wait for 2.2.1 to come ? Or is there
a workaround available for samba 2.0.9 ?
TIA,
Jeroen.

Re: Samba domain security ok for users but bad for domain admins
I really want to wait with upgrading my Samba 2.0.9-servers...
Maybe when revision 2.2.1 arrives that I will consider the upgrade but 2.2.0 still has some issues.
Anyone got their 2.0.9 into a NATIVE win2k domain and got domain security working for all users including domainadmins ?
