Samba fails to work until reboot.

I have SAMBA A.01.07 on HPUX 11.11. after some time it can not view empty files and the log shows the following. any file with a size works fine, but blank files give a permision error. after a reboot, the empty files work fine. any thoughts ?

Thoughts: ?????

Its a wee bit out of date your samba. The latest Samba 2.x release has bug fixees for some of these issues.
