Hi All,
I am soon going to be rebuilding a HP9000 server currently running HPUX 10.20 to use 11i. I need Samba to run on the new machine, but do not see a mention if it being compatibly with the 64 bit 11i. Can anyone share any experiences they have with getting Samba to work on 11i 64bit. Is it just a matter of compiling the latest source?
Many thanks,
Dermot.

Re: Samba in HPUX11i
For samba on 11i, use hp's CIFS9000.

Solution
Have a look at HP's version of SAMBA, called CIFS. There is a client and a server piece to CIFS. Both are FREE.
CIFS/900 Client - Allows HP-UX to mount Windows shares.
