Hi,
I have a lot of experience installing configuring samba on linux but i never did samba on hp-ux.
when installing the new depot package from the hp website i get this error, can some one tell me what do ? on the instalation guide they don't talk about dependencies:

Solution
Hi,
and welcome to the forums !
Your installation failed as the CIFS-Server requires other packages to be installed first.
The list in your description seems to indicate
KRB5-Client.KRB5-SHLIB
LdapUxClient.LDAP-C-SDK
Downlaod/Install the missing packages first then install CIFS-Server.
Please see Rainer's post in:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=3368 for more details in CIFS.
Please also read:
